My training didn’t just involve stretching my body — but making my mind flexible.

“The clarity I see in Swami Mukti… his sense of humor and the way he transports his knowledge are unique. Swami Mukti lives all that he teaches.”

Where it all began.

Born in the Caribbean part of Colombia, I grew up eating mangos in my Abuelo's backyard.

I’ve always been the weird kid in my family. At nine years old I handed half my wardrobe through the bedroom window to the poor kids on the street. My mother wasn’t impressed!

Inspired by the life of Francis of Assissi I’ve spent two years as a Franciscan monk at the age of 16.

Patroling my father’s farm as a cowboy, I eventually turned hippie. Disappointed with my Psychology and Journalism courses at university, I quit without a degree in my pocket. And instead took off to India where I learned the science of life during my 16 year training with a powerful Yogi.

No course at Uni could have taught me the priceless lessons I learned from this encounter.

The Training No One Tells You About.

After working with hundreds of people for over 40 years, I’d love to show you…

How to develop a healthy relationship with your mind.

Because, for better or worse, it’s your closest companion.

You may lock the toilet door behind you, but the mind follows.

Vacation 3000 miles away from work and in-laws, but the mind is there, in the hotel room, in the bath, on the beach.

So, are you going to have a toxic relationship with it, or, find a way to cultivate a friend?

What I didn’t learn.

When I arrived in India, I thought I was a saint (intellectually).

My teacher quickly showed me that I wasn’t one in practice. He knew the right buttons to push… exposing my anger, jealousy, and self-doubt.

I hadn’t come to learn how to stand on my head and meditate like a Buddha.

Instead, I was here to unload my mind from the baggage I had been carrying.
